Welcome to the Ebenezer blog. My name is Samuel Stokes and I have written a musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. During the process of writing and composing this adaptation, I explored a wide variety of movie and TV versions of the story. I thought it would be nice to collect all of my notes from this research and put it in one place. So, I will periodically post my thoughts on various versions of A Christmas Carol here on this blog, and provide occasional updates on the musical Ebenezer.
